Our Story
Obeying the Shepherd's Call
For several years I've sensed the Holy Spirit's calling to "feed sheep".
In 2022, that calling became a stirring from the Lord to launch an "application ministry." I'd never heard terms used together. Over time it became more evident. The ministry would focus on the application of truth, not just the distribution of truth (preaching, teaching, courses, etc).
Then scriptures came to mind like James 1:22, "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves" and in John 10:27, where Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
So much of God's word confirms His desire for us to hear and obey.
FeedSheep.org will be a platform offering engaging, relevant bible teaching for the current generation, then specializing in helping them apply that truth to their lives.
In no way do we have the "hearing & obeying" thing mastered. We continue to grow on our journey to follow Christ. But we have been on this adventure for many years and realize we can't lead others to a place we've not been.
God has made it clear it's time for us to love, care & serve His sheep so their story will bear much fruit as they:

Thrive as a disciple
Cheri and I have witnessed much fruit from living this out over the past 25-30 years. Now we desire others to join us on this adventure toward greater intimacy with Christ.

Our Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of FeedSheep.org based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Revelation
God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the Holy Spirit, His Word, and through all of creation itself.
Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.
The Fall
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.
The Church
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Salvation
Salvation can be found in Christ alone. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior.
Resurrection
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.

Through Feedsheep.org, we are praying for a great impact on your family, church and community, bearing the following fruits:
- Greater humility in disciples (Zephaniah 2:2-3)
- Increase in hearers & obeyers (James 1:22)
