I’ve known Dan Schilling for over 20 years, and from our very first meeting, it was clear he was no ordinary ministry leader. Through Crown Financial Ministries, I expected to simply purchase resources, but Dan had other plans. I quickly discovered he wasn’t a customer service rep or salesman—he was a missionary who had devoted his life to serving leaders like me. He wasn’t there to make sales—he was there to make disciples.

I was blown away when Dan offered to drive an hour and a half each week at his expense, to personally guide our leadership team’s small group, modeling what true biblical teaching and discipleship look like. Over the years, through hundreds of phone calls, meetings, and group sessions we shared, he continually poured into my life and into the lives of those around me.

Dan will never settle for lukewarm faith. Like the apostle Paul, he is relentless in his desire to reach as many people as possible with the truth of God’s Word, for as long as he has breath in his lungs. Though younger than me, Dan mentored me with love, patience, and wisdom.  The fruit of that investment remains to this day.

My prayer is that God grants him many more years to plant seeds that will grow into mighty spiritual trees. I am deeply thankful our paths crossed, and I pray that many others will experience the passionate faith and teaching that have so profoundly impacted my life.
